Well, had to change the heading from Garfield Progress to Dollhouse Progress because I am now the proud owner of two dollhouse kits and have a third one on the way. I have been reading the Greenleaf member blogs and it occurred to me that I need to kitbash (remodel) the Garfield or I'll never get it out of my second bedroom. That prompted me to get a smaller project The Coventry Cottage.
The third one is on its way because I have to use the bonus bucks I received for the purchase of the Garfield so getting the Laurel and Primerose addition at less than half price! Can't resist a good deal.
I've checked the box contents of the Coventry and everything is there. I've started the first step which is punching out pieces and the not so fun part of sanding. I'm now ready for the first coat of paint which will be just a coat of white latex semi-gloss to seal the wood and keep it from warping.
